fair vibes

April 17, 2018 by Marisa Taylor in life style

A Friday, September 2017 // Fall will forever be one of my favorite seasons. And I have New England suburbia to thank for that. Fall leaves, apple picking, oversized sweaters and cardigans - cozy, right? (Breaks for an hour to buy another sweater.)

back from cancun

April 16, 2018 by Marisa Taylor in youtube

It's been two weeks since I got home from Cancun, but the mems (and the tan lines) are still fresh.

If anything else, this relaxing resort vacation was the perfect chance to catch up on sleep. Early morning flights and packing just hours before take-off rewards itself later when you're beach bound.

The week was filled with lots of sun, some quality time with a new aquatic friend and endless opportunities to be surrounded by the palms, or enjoy a poolside taco. I booked through The Vacationers by Emma Straub, and checked 'ordering room service' off my bucket list. Did you catch that pun back there?

Ocean air, one-piece bathing suits and hotel robes aside, I'm happy to be back in reality. Adventures are my favorite, and traveling has a way of refreshing your mind - but I was all too ready to get my feet back in America and hit the ground running.

Back then it was a stop for truckers coming down the Berlin Turnpike on their way to New York or wherever. The neon pink sign and teal booths haven't changed much, even though I guess the diner is now considered to be some kind of "vintage."
